Willerby Library will be hosting a fascinating talk about the thrilling story of the North Sea ferry, MV Norland, and its major role in the Falklands War in 1982.

The authors of a new book, 'First In Last Out', about this 'secret weapon' of the Falklands Task Force, Reg Kemp and Michael Wood, will be at Willerby Library on Thursday, 26 March, at 7pm for a free talk and Q and A session.

Councillor Shaun Horton, portfolio holder for tourism, culture and leisure, said: "East Riding Libraries are very keen to support local authors to promote their work, and this event is a great example of doing just that! I know it will prove very interesting for our local audiences."

Signed copies of the book will be available to buy on the evening, priced £9.99.
