Sewerby Hall and Gardens will be hosting a Harvest Festival on Sunday, 23 September.

The event will run from 11am until 4pm, and will be a day to celebrate the harvest and the best in local produce. The packed programme of events will include Food and Craft Stalls, as well as children’s events, Scarecrow Stiltwalkers, and a sheepdog display.

There will be displays by the the York Guild of Weavers and Spinners.

Marie Gascoigne, facility manager at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, said: “This will be a really enjoyable and interesting way to celebrate what’s best about the autumn, the harvest, and our very best local food producers. There will also be a great chance to watch the skills of sheepdogs and their handlers, and marvel at the Scarecrow Stiltwalkers.”

Admission charges are £7.50 for adults, £5.40 for children and £24 for a family (two adults and two children).
