East Riding Libraries will be entering into the spirit of Hallowe’en this October, with a fun reading and activity session based on Ben Mantle’s book, ‘Five Little Pumpkins’.
All the sessions are free – contact your local library to book a space. Fancy dress will be very welcome.
Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for leisure, tourism and culture, said : “East Riding Libraries always put on popular events for Hallowe’en, and this year will be no exception! I am sure that children and families will love these events, which are designed to be not too scary, but great fun!”

Driffield Centre : Tuesday, 30 October : 11am-11.45am.
James Nicol will also be doing a Hallowe'en story time at Driffield, on 31 October from 10.30am -11.30am, for the 6+ age group.
Cottingham Multi Service Centre : Tuesday, 30 October : 3pm -3.30pm
Snaith: Tuesday, 30 October : 4pm-4.30pm
Petuaria Centre, Brough : Wednesday, 31 October: 9.30am-10am AND 11am – 11.30am
Bridlington Central (pre-school children) : Wednesday, 31 October : 10am-11am
Anlaby library at East Riding Leisure Haltemprice : Wednesday, 31 October : 10.30am-11.15am
Beverley : Wednesday, 31 October : 10.30=11.30am
Bridlington Central ( ages 5-8) : Wednesday, 31 October : 2pm-3pm
Howden Centre : Wednesday,31 October : 4pm-4.30pm
The Withernsea Centre : Thursday, 1 November : 2.15pm-3.15pm
Willerby : Thursday, 1 November : 3pm-3.30pm
