Sewerby Squirrels sessions in November

‘Sewerby Squirrels’ – held at Sewerby Hall and Gardens for under fives and their families - is held in the Orangery on Mondays from 10am -11.30am, during East Riding term-time.

All the sessions feature themed activities for Under 5s, based on seasonal events, Edwardian life, and exhibits which are on display at Sewerby Hall. Each session includes books to read, a sensory area and quiet corner.

The session onMonday, 5 November will be an Edwardian tea party. The session will be a chance to share role play, tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits, and fruit.

Monday, 12 November will be all about Amy Johnson themed craft. There will be a chance to make a feathery bird to take home.

On Monday, 19 November, the Squirrels will become Beach Explorers, featuring sand play, and dressing up.

The final session of the month, on Monday, 26 November, will feature Edwardian cleaning. The session will include using a dolly tub, beating a carpet, polishing brass, and playing with bubbles (weather permitting).
