The council’s Sport, Play & Arts Service, in partnership with East Riding Leisure Driffield, are relaunching the ‘Multi Activity’ session at the leisure centre. It’s a gentle exercise/fun activities session starting on Tuesday, 26 February at East Riding Leisure Driffield.
The sessions will include activities such as Boccia (a form of bowls), New Age Kurling, giant jenga, seated volleyball, short tennis, badminton and much more.
The sessions are £2.50 per week but there is no need to book - just wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring a drink. The sessions are aimed at all ability levels, and are designed to offer a range of activities in a fun environment. There will also be Tea and Coffee available to all participants. The first session on 26 February will be free of charge.
Dominic Rhodes, community sports coach (rural), said : “Whether you want to try a new activity or just meet new friends, come along to the session on Tuesday, 26 February from 1.00pm – 2.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!”
