April will bring a range of concerts to the famous Orangery at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, featuring many different types of music.
Thursday, 4 April at 2pm will feature The Entertainers - this Bridlington singing group from the University of the Third Age will present easy listening music, songs from the musicals, and pop classics.
Thursday, 11 April at 2pm will be a return visit by the Tickhill and District Male Voice Choir. The choir will be making their third consecutive annual visit, singing music to suit all tastes.
On Sunday, 14 April at 2pm, Christina Waldock will be in concert. Christina will present her fresh take on well-known classics and unusual music. She has played all over the world and lives in the East Riding as a teacher and musician in residence.
Thursday, 18 April at 2pm will feature Eric Hart and Dorothy Greaves, a popular piano and vocal duo.
On Thursday, 25 April at 2pm, the concert will feature classical pianist Garth Blackburn.
The final concert of the month will be on Sunday, 28 April at 2pm, and will feature The Middle 8 Singers, a vocal harmony group from Driffield, singing popular songs of the 50s, 60s and 70s, and more recent material.
Admission prices for the concerts and the house and gardens will be £8.40 for adults; £6.20 for children; and a family ticket is also available at £28 (two adults and two children).
