The zoo at Sewerby Hall and Gardens has launched new-look versions of its popular packages to adopt the animals in the collection.
Adoption packages now come in gold, silver and bronze formats. All three packages include a personalised adoption certificate, an animal fact sheet, a thank you letter, and a sign on the enclosure with the adopter’s name on it.
The gold and silver packages also feature quarterly newsletters and a key ring, and those who opt for the gold package will also receive two complimentary tickets to Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
Prices range from £20 for bronze to £35 for silver and £50 for gold.
Most of the animals in the zoo are available for adoption and include Humboldt penguins; ring-tailed lemurs; llamas; sika deer; goats; parrots; Shetland ponies; alpacas; raccoon dogs; guinea pigs; and budgies, doves and cockatiels.
Facility manager Marie Gascoigne said: “Our adoption scheme has always been popular, but this year we wanted to broaden out the options available, so that people can choose a more tailored option to suit their needs.”
Full details of the adoption packages and all the facilities at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, including the zoo, the house, the gardens, and the café are available at www.sewerbyhall.co.uk, where customers can also save ten per cent by buying tickets in advance.
