Active Coast has another action- packed programme of events this May half term.
Wednesday, 29 May will feature a Have a Field Day event at Humber Bridge Country Park from 11am -4pm, which is open to all. It will include a climbing wall; sand, stone, and woodland workshops; football cage; giant inflatable bootcamp and freefall; slacklines; Yorkshire Cricket; Golf Foundation; Nerf Zone; archery; face painting; sumo suits; cycling; drumming workshops; storytelling; and yoga.
Thursday, 30 May will see a Sport and Play Day at Withernsea Memorial Gardens, from 1pm-4pm. The free event is open to all.
On Friday, 31 May, beach cricket on Bridlington South Cliff Beach, with partners Yorkshire Cricket Board, from 10am – 12 noon, below the Park and Ride, for those aged 6-16 will offer fun skills, drills and games to help lean and play the game.
Also on Friday, 31 May, beach tennis at Bridlington South Beach from 1pm – 3pm, below the Park and Ride, for those aged 6-16 will offer fun skills, drills and games to help lean and play the game.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens will host Family Classic Games and Play Activities on Friday, 31 May from 1pm-3pm. The event is open to all; general admission charges to Sewerby Hall and Gardens will apply.
On Sunday , 2 June, there will be a Skyball Beach Volleyball Training Camp at Bridlington South Beach , below the Park and Ride, from 10am-5pm. The event is open to all.
