The council’s Sport, Play & Arts Service, in partnership with East Riding Leisure Driffield, are reporting the great success of their Multi Activity Sessions at the leisure centre, and are pleased to announce that they will be continuing, as a result of their popularity .

New participants are always welcome to come along and take part.

The sessions include activities such as Boccia (a form of bowls), New Age Kurling, bikes, seated volleyball, short tennis, badminton and much more.

The sessions are £2.50 per week and there is no need to book - just wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring a drink. The sessions are aimed at all ability levels, and are designed to offer a range of activities in a fun environment. There will also be Tea and Coffee available for all participants.

Dominic Rhodes, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, said : “Whether you want to try a new activity or just meet new friends, then come along and give it a go. The response has been very positive, largely because of the variety of activities. Come along to the sessions that take place on Tuesdays, from 1.00pm – 2.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!”
