The council’s Sport, Play & Arts Service, in partnership with NHS Community Link and Hull & East Yorkshire Mind, are holding a Coffee and Befriending morning at the Downe Arms pub in Snaith on Wednesday, 3 July from 10.30am – 12pm.
The event is free; however, there is a small charge to purchase teas and coffees. The aim of the morning is to bring people together within the local community and use it as a perfect opportunity to reduce isolation and to get people to socialise and meet new friends.
Dom Rhodes, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, said: “These mornings are a perfect way for the local community to come together and meet for a tea or coffee and a chat with friendly faces. We look forward to seeing you there and welcoming you to the morning.”
