This July, Remarkable Arts are bringing their Remarkable production of 'Rock Britannia' to the Parkway Cinema and Theatre at the Flemingate Shopping Centre, Beverley, in an event supported by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Starring their Rock Choirs from across the county and accompanied by an exceptional live band of professional musicians, for one night only Remarkable Rock brings Beverley the best of British Rock. On Thursday, 25 July at 7pm, the Parkway stage will be transformed as they play out the history of British Rock, with epic, guitar-shredding, toe-tapping, six-part harmony arrangements of classic songs by Queen, The Beatles, Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Fleetwood Mac, Status Quo – and many more : Rock Britannia promises a great night of great music.
This is the group’s first large theatrical production in Beverley, following on from sell-out shows in Bridlington at the Priory Church & Spa Theatre, and choir director, Mark Howley, said: "We are so excited to do our first large ticketed event in Beverley. Our Rock choir in the town now has over 80 members and they are well used to travelling to Bridlington to perform at the Spa & Priory Church. It's going to be great for them to perform at a big venue in their home town.
“We can promise you a night of high-energy, non-stop entertainment which will have you dancing in your seat and singing along."
Tickets are £10 & £6 for children, and are available from the Parkway Cinema Box Office HU17 OPW, online at beverley.parkway and by calling 01482 968090.
