The ERSCP contributed to the learning offer during this year's Safeguarding week (15 - 19 June). We were involved in a number of learning sessions, with significant reach across the region:

  • Adult Vulnerabilities that Impact Children
  • Joint Agency Review (JAR) training
  • Community session in Toll Gavel in partnership with Humberside Fire and Rescue and Public Health.

Important and clear safeguarding information was shared, including the following:

  • Cumulative harm and the impact on a child
  • Adult issues and how they can impact a child, and the importance of a think family approach when supporting individual family members
  • Process of a joing agency review (JAR) and what to expect
  • Water safety including float to live etc.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued engagement and enthusiasm when accessing the offers during our annual Safeguarding Week. Without our facilitators and delegates, it would not be a success, and the awareness gained would not be as great.
